Heather Wood-Ion is co-founder of the Uplift Academy, is currently executive director of the Goldie Hawn Institute, author of Third Class Ticket, and co-author of Against Terrible Odds: Lessons in Resilience from Our Children.

She is also the Uplift Academy's theme leader for Epidemic of Health, based on Jonas Salk's vision of how to transform our health care system.
